About the record
Velvet Static was dug out of crates, not computers. We sampled fifty forgotten records, kept the crackle, and built five rolling afterhours tools around swung drums and dub-wise bass.
It's the record we reach for at 4am — loose, smoky and unhurried — and the one other DJs keep asking us about after our sets.
